Great Pack, perfect EDC pack or Daily Carry pack. Love the organization and the external compartment at the bottom of the pack allows for a variety of items if not used to hold the medical kit. Rain Jacket, cold weather items like gloves and beanie and down jacket or vest. For summer months I use that lower compartment for Sun Hat, Sun Shirt, Flip Flops, Swim Trunks and something warm for if I am out at night. Carry is very comfortable and runners style shoulder straps hold my phone and other quick to grab items like Lip Sun Block, Glasses cleaning rag, Power bank and Airpods. My 13" Macbook Air M4 fits easily and is well protected. The medical kit is great, well organized. Wish the Major wound pouch was a bit bigger for more Trauma items. This pack impressed me so much I bought 2 of them. One is none and Two is One!!!
This is the best backpack I have had! I have used Yeti, Patagonia, various tacitcal backpacks and this one is my favorite. The shoulder straps are supportive and do not cut into your shoulders like so many other brands, the backpack sits upright on the ground, holds any size water bottle and intuitive in its layout. I love the medical kit in the base. Every time I use it someone comments how great it looks. The last backpack you'll ever need!
Have used it as an EDC for about 6 months and love being ready, especially when out with the family. Great for everything from skiing, hiking, and biking to just walking around town.
I am really enjoying my new ASKA Pack. I love the integrated first aid kit and immediately started using it and packed some items for a weeklong get away and used some of the meds that I had put in there for my wife. I really wish I would have bought the stocked kit and I reach out to the owner, and he said it was not too late to upgrade. That is great customer service!!!! I also like the pouch for my laptop which I feel keeps it well protected. A lot of thought went into this design, and it shows. I showed my new pack to a coworker today and he loved it. In fact I helped him get on the computer and we ordered his today. If you're in the medical field or just like to get outdoors with your family and have no medical training, you need this pack!!
Haven't needed any stuff in the kit yet but I like everything in it. Well put together and organized, and the bag itself is pretty sweet. I may add or subtract some things but the main thing I like is that is all pretty much in my wheelhouse. It's all stuff I have used before or at least grasp what it is and how to apply it for the most part. And it's all stuff a guy like me will most likely need, I'm not gonna be doing field surgery, but band aids and ace bandage? Maybe some more advanced stuff? I think yes.
The laptop compartment is a bit small.
I haven’t used any of the items, yet. But, I love the way it’s set up. Having zippered pockets with labels gives me peace of mind for when I may need to use it in a hurry. It’s also a great size for taking with the average person.
Great Bag. Very Organized. Love it. Can't wait for the Pro model.
This is easily the best all around pack I've ever come across. I have been searching the the best all around, everyday pack that I could ADD an IFAK to and still have enough space without looking like I'm carrying everything I own with me. The main compartment is perfect for small pouches and miscellaneous things while still have designated pockets to use. The IFAK that can come with it is just perfect for anything I could use it for just shy of a surgery. I look forward to anything else they decide to come up with, because I will most likely get it.
Great design. I have the main pack as my daily EDC. It also goes out with me on hikes or when we go trail riding (2-10hrs.). That keeps the pack and med kit on me 24/7. So this let me do the same set up in my pack just on a stand alone for the main camp when the family does not go with me. It stays in my vehicle when not camping as a secondary med kit. 10/10
Really comprehensive First Aid kit. An upgrade from my Uncharted Supply kit. Lives in my car and always feel happy when out and about with small kids to know I’m prepared for about anything. High quality and excellent organization.
I bought two empty kits and have set one up as an ouch pouch and the other as a trauma kit. The velcro organisational patches make the kits easy to set up as i would like them and easy to navigate for people in my family and team. The kits also fit perfectly in a Pelicase 1300 which is needed for vehicle and canoe/kayak transportation. Solid construction and excellent design, couldn't be happier. I use these primarily in my roles as a wilderness first aid instructor and ground SAR member. Thanks for a great product John!
I purchased the pack with the empty med kit as I have no issues building my own (and I actually enjoy it). That being said the size is perfect for me as an EDC. I love where the med kit is stored. It does take some space away from the main compartment but I can still fit my iPad in its own carrying case with ease in the main compartment. The main compartment also has several very functional zippered compartments inside of it. There is also a compartment on the back of the pack that is ideal for folders etc. Straps are comfortable. Big spandex-ish pouch on the front of the pack fits my 40oz iron flask comfortably which makes the smaller main compartment much easier to stomach. I have two minor complaints. One…the zippers not attached to the main compartment don’t have any rubber on them so there is a bit of metal on metal noise when your walking, which might drive me a little insane if I was on a hike or prolonged walk. Two…I do wish the spandex-ish side pouches came up a bit higher so you could more comfortably carry a larger/taller bottle or item in them. Over all love this pack. It sits upright because of the med kit base. I was excited to get this one in the mail and I was even more excited once I started transferring my stuff. I’d highly recommend this pack to just about anyone.
Best of the best! Super nice quality, great material. It’s durable, flexible, and strong. I love the organization. The first aid kit is the star of the show and it’s perfect. Not one complaint about the bag. I can for my 16 Mac Bool Pro, 13 inch IPad Pro, and a notepad plus all of my admin pouches and other equipment. The customer service was reliable and fast in responding. I don’t have any complaints.
I was looking for hiking bag and a first aid kit and came across Aska’s 2 in 1 pack with both and was instantly drawn to its 24L size and contents of its FAK. The essentials kit came well stocked with everything you would need for everyday wound care and first aid. I feel more confident on solo hikes and hikes with my family due to the supplies Aska stocks their first aid kit bags with. Their team also responded quickly to my inquiries over both social media and email.
